just curious how many people around my timeline hasn't received anything about 485 schedule for interview. So many people have already received this notice, but mine is still fingerprint fee is received......

also, I requested for change of address, have no idea how this will influence my timeline.

anyone has any idea about this? thank you guys.

Stuck on fingerprint fee recieved may 9th also... Allot of the number near me are stuck on that status also

April 8th: AOS sent

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Hey guys!

I have been following the forum for a while , but got disappointed as there were no updates or new cards issued lately. All my numbers were showing validation errors as well.

But

Today I just checked the uscis website and Ta-Dam - EAD card has been issued! Super happy! It has been 78 days, I was going to send a request on Monday, but no need any more!! Finally I can go to work, haha))

Don't give up!! Just be patient!! :goofy:

We sent lease, utility bills, bank statements and friends' affidavits. The rest of the stuff (photos, pet adoption papers, insurance) - will bring to the interview.

Hello guys, please, someone here also got RFE almost on the same day as me and we sent the respond back on the same day.. who was it?

I'm just wondering if the person got a notification or the online status got changed?

I just sent a service request, so we will see if that helps - anyone has tried that on their website?

Random Update on K2 for our son.

Check status at USCIS.gov not working until this last week. On July 13 it started working and notified us of approval for AP and EAD. There were no email notifications at all on this. This is really bizarre since our K1 took only 62 days and completely skipped approval of AP and EAD for my wife.

On July 15 the EAD receipt number notified us that a card is being send. Still no email notification like our NOA1. We assume that "The Card" will be a combo card of AP and EAD. Sorry to say my 12 year old son has a card to work, (LOL USA Sweatshops) but we filed it so now we can apply for his Social Security Number. The EAD is really useless to him otherwise

We are still hanging in there to see what will happen on the Green Card/AOS application. The Check Status on that still gives the "Gray Screen of Death" with no information.

Good Luck to all. Things seem to be moving for April filers.

10/29/2015 POE Chicago; Easiest pass through for Linh in her 4 previous entries.
11/2/2015: Not tuned in enough to Social Security not to pick "the first day of the month" to try to get signed up. Read VJ advice, it's spot on, we had a processor who knew K1. We were in the SAVE database in 3 days so it was easy after a 2 hour wait.

4/26/2016 Received 3 emails and 3 text with Acceptance of confirmation of 3 applications. NOA1 Date 4/25/2016 WHAT IS GOING ON CHICAGO? Took 10 days longer than last time to just receive mail

4/27/2016 Check is cashed. Still can't look up Receipt Numbers on Case Status online at USCIS.GOV WHAT IS GOING ON?????

5/25/2016 Walk in for a "junior" Biometrics for an 11 year old (supposedly not required). Oops wrote down the wrong day, appointment was for 5/23/2016. USCIS office was nice and accepted us 2 days late.

7/13/2016 Finally the Check Status Website worked. Approved EAD and AP. Website still not working on AOS Green Card Application. No email notification at all....

7/15/2016 Card for EAD mailed. Card is for both EAD and AP. Received 7/19/2016. Waiting now for AOS Interview or Green Card Approval

7/19/2016 The USCIS.GOV is now working for our AOS application. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Seems others have access to USCIS.GOV Check Case now. Glitch fixed?

8/15/2016 I-485 Approved. Status now Card/Document Production

8/20/2016 GREEN CARD DELIVERED -118 Days K-2 Process complete, see y'all on Lifting Conditions board in a year or so

How do I get VJ timeline to estimate my interview/GC date? I now have biometrics done and EAD card. I have already entered the info but it's not giving me any prediction.

I don't think you can. GC and interviews have almost no rhyme or reason, so it's too hard to track. EAD and AP are usually done in bulks at the MSC, so it's easier to track. GC can go to another service center, stay at the original, or move to your local office. All these things make it to hard to "predict" when you can get it. Too many variables.

EAD approved July 12th. We didn't apply for AP so hoping to get the interview and GC before October so I can go home!!

Awwww, thank you! I was pretty surprised actually. I was expecting it in July, but didn't think it would come on time.

No text or email notification. I checked the status on Friday and saw that it had been approved on 12th - I also received the card in the mail on Friday. I believe the case status only works once it has been updated with approval or interview or something. Mine wasn't working until this week. My lawyer said it usually takes around 3 months to get EAD so I'm sure you'll hear something soon. Keep us updated!!

I still can't check any of my cases # ("Not Recognized"), no RFE, no news since my biometrics appointment almost 2 months ago...

I put a SR on my 75th day, and no news on that side either... I'm going bonkers here!!

We are about the same timeline and we are in the exact same boat! No info since biometrics and put in a service request at day 75 and haven't heard anything can't see my stuff online ?

combo card arrived today.. i-485 still stuck on "fingerprint fee recieved"

April 8th: AOS sent

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

​November 12th: Interview letter received ​[Day 216]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Received approval letter in the mail for Green card [Day 239]

December 6th: "Card was mailed to me" [Day 240]

December 8th: Green card received in mail!!! [day 242]
