I just got off the phone with USCIS. I was told my EAD is still pending...I has been 88 days since I filed my AOS...

For those who are also waiting for EAD, hang in there, I'm with you guys.. :thumbs: hopefully we'll hear something from USCIS this week!!!

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

April 8th: AOS sent

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

​November 12th: Interview letter received ​[Day 216]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Received approval letter in the mail for Green card [Day 239]

I am not sure if i am correct on this matter, but i have seen no progress whatsoever on any of the EAD cases on visa journey.

Seems like everything is at stand still since the past week. Not sure what is going on. Any ideas??

Hi guys, I just received EAD by mail. My case never show any update online, error validation. I have submitted online service request on Jun 30. And here we are ? I'm not sure if there is anything to do with the request though.

03/15/16. Sent out I-130 and AOS package but instead of filing it concurrently, I misunderstood and filed it separately.

03/23/16. Phoenix lockbox transferred our case (I-130 only) to Nebraska, cashed check, received NOA via text/email.

03/28/16. Received NOA1 I-130 hard copy by USPS

04/08/16. Received the package that we sent to Chicago. Case rejected due to improper filing? We sent it back to Chicago together with I-130 NOA 1 that we received last week (also RFE just in case too) sameday.

04/11/16. Package I-485, I-765 arrived at Chicago lockbox the second time.

04/19/16. Received NOA1 for I-485&I-765 via Text&email with new case number. They also cashed the check today.

05/02/16. Received Biometric letter, scheduled on May 9

05/09/16. Biometric completed

05/25/16. I-485 Case updated online, case is ready to be scheduled

06/29/16. I-130 Case updated online, case was transferred..

06/30/16. Submit USCIS E-request to update/expedite I-765

07/11/16. Received EAD By mail

09/09/16. Interview date is scheduled on Oct 14

10/14/16. Approved, status changed to New card is in production

10/15/16. Status online for I-130 & I-485 updated to Case was approved

10/20/16. Status online for I-485 updated to Card was picked up by USPS with tracking number.

10/21/16. Received NOA2 for I-130 & I-485

10/22/16. Received the card from USPS ?

I sent a service request on June 24th and just got a email saying that my application is "under review". According to the email I should receive decision or notice of other action shortly... well, I have my interview next week so it is sort of pointless. But good to know that somethings happening :)

now it's been already for more than 15 days since the "card being produced" update. still status hasn't changed to "mailed". I am supposed to be in the office today to my new employer, but I can't without the card.



Is there anything I can do now? besides, I didn't receive my I765 Approval notice in mail. I only received the AP approval notice in mail.

19th April'2016-NOA
22nd April'2016- Checks have been cashed.
21st May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter
23rd May'2016- Successfully Walked In Biometric Appointment
6th June'2016- Request for Expedite EAD
24th June'2016- Expedite EAD case approved
27th June'2016- AP approved
14th July'2016-EAD/AP Combo card received !!!!!!!
1st Sep'2016-Interview -- approved on site

That's makes me feel better that mine hasn't been assigned to an officer yet that yours just got assigned and you done a SR 5days before me

I have been searching any topics about the processing time of EAD on VJ but I can't find any.. I don't think I still have patience about all of this.. It is really frustrating just sitting in the house the whole day..

August 31, 2015 - NOA1 Hardcopy Received                                                                   March 28, 2016 - CIVIL Wedding Ceremony!

September 23, 2015 - RFE Received                                                                              April 12, 2016 - Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate received!

December 8, 2015 - SLEC Medical but failed on CXR had to do sputum tests!                May 14, 2016 - received mail for Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated May 26, 2016)

December 14,15,16 2015 - went back to SLEC for Sputum Tests!                                   May 26, 2016 - Biometrics done!

December 18, 2015 - Initial sputum tests done! Results are negative                             June 3, 2016 - per case status online i-485 "Ready to schedule for interview"

February 10, 2016 - received email from SLEC sputum tests negative                           July 5, 2016 - 1st SR for EAD (75th day from the received date)

February 17, 2016 - SLEC medical done!!!                                                                       July 16, 2016 - recieved an email EAD case is under review

February 23, 2016 - USEM interview approved! The CO has only 3 questions! LOL        July 22, 2016 - 2nd SR for EAD (92nd day from the received date)

March 4, 2016 - K1 visa packet received!!                                                                      August 2, 2016 - EAD status changed to New Card is being produced

March 8, 2016 - CFO seminar done                                                                               August 3, 2016 - EAD/AP status changed to CASE was APPROVED!

March 19, 2016 - arrived at my POE Los Angeles                                                          August 9, 2016 - EAD/AP combo card received!

Hi guys, I received my green card in the mail today, my status of the case remains invalid even though the card in hand. So I wish all luck to everyone who is still waiting for approval. God is in control.

04/19/2016 - money order cashed
04/22/2016 - hard copy NOA received by mail

07/05/2016- Approval notice Case type I485

07/09/2016- Received letter by mail

07/11/2016- Received green card by mail ( my green card in hand, so so so happy)

we called yesterday and they had no updates on the EAD. Told us it was still being processed and that our SR response was on the way and stated that it was still pending. :clock:

this is by far the worst customer service experience. we pay a hefty fee for services and we cannot get accurate answers about processes that truly affect our livelihood. The unknown status is one of the most frustrating parts of the process. At least for us it's a little less daunting because we have our interview date but for you guys who have heard nothing at all I'm sure it's even worse. I'm hoping that we all hear something this week, but our 90 days is up and as of yesterday Tier 2 had no answers. So we continue to wait along with everyone else.

4/8/2016 mailed AOS package (lawyer)

4/19/2016 bank confimed that cashier's checks were cashed

4/22/2016 received hard copy NOAs for I-765, I-130, I-485 ***Priority date 4/13/16***

4/30/2016 received biometrics notice, scheduled for 5/13/2016

5/05/2016 Walk in Biometrics done, Columbus, OH

6/22/2016 Online service request submitted for EAD

6/30/2016 Interview scheduled for 08/04/2016

07/20/2016 EAD card being produced

07/27/2016 EAD received

08/04/2016 Interview completed, APPROVED

08/13/2016 GC delivered

***able to check I-485 receipt number as of 6/30/2016, I-765 receipt number as of 7/20/2016, I-130 as of 07/28/2016**

waiting a call back from tier 2 about my i-485 status update and my EAD... its now been 13days since i submitteda service request I'm feeling hopeful tho!!! i check 30 numbers below me once a week to see out of curisoity where those cases are at... the number 0-15 got there EAD last week and today EAD's between 16-26 got there update yesterday that card was being produced so im feeling hopeful that mine is next!!!! perhaps im a little optimistic?? im now at day 93 1 can only hope

I believe USCIS is toying with our emotions to see how much we can take before we break down. Today they woke me up to a 6am e-mail with an update about my AOS. I thought it was something good but it was just a 12 days delayed email notification telling me that they got my RFIE response and would work on it. They sent me the text with the same info on June 30 and just now they decided to send the email, just to get my hopes up and crash them.

Yesterday I got offered a dream job and I can only hope they will bear with me for a little longer while I wait on the EAD. Day 86, SR sent last week and still nothing.

To add just a tiny bit of extra stress, I'm moving to our new place on Thursday, so I hope the change of address gets proccessed correctly and I get USCIS mail to the new place.

For now I can only play Pokemon Go to keep myself from going crazy :dancing:

Exciting Update: After waiting for what seemed like an eternity (105 days to be exact), the NOA2 for EAD & AP arrived yesterday and this morning I woke up to a text with a status update to "Card was Mailed". We were so excited we did a happy dance around the living room. :dancing: Now Heem can get to work and our life together can truly commence!! Congrats to all who have reached this point (And BEYOND) and prayers and blessings to those still in the middle of this agonizing wait! Now to wait for the interview.... :clock:

just off the phone with USCIS my i-485 is still being processed at NBC so just need to wait on that and see how it goes... my EAD got APPROVED yesterday!!!!!!! ahhhhh omg omg omg sooo happy its only a minor step but ahhhhhhh so happy.. after 6 years i can finally drive again and 6 years i can finallly work again i can finally have state and ID and a driver license which is a good thing cause my passport expires in feb 2017 and its beat the hell up with water damage!!!! They said my online status should changed to approved in a few days and i should recieve my card within 2 weeks

Yay!! That's great news. We were waiting in fingerprint purgatory too. This minor step feels SOOOOO big though, doesn't it? Luckily, Heem had an international driving permit but that expired at the end of June so we are headed to the DMV as soon as the actual card arrives (was mailed on July 10th). I'm tired of driving.... lol
