I'll be watching to hear what you hear from the call if you don't get an update soon. We have similar timelines and we ran into an RFIE on the 485. My status says ready for interview but then 6 weeks later got an RFIE. Now the EAD timeline estimate on VJ is getting pushed back further and further. On the frustrating side.

It seems to me when they updated your status to interview ready it may of been an error since the status was dated before you even filed... It seems weird it took them a month to send you your RFE after you biometrics... It seems people typically get a responce around 2weeks marker that's why it's strange it took around a month for you to get yours... Hopfully you'll get some good news soon wether it's EAD approval or status update for you I-485

My EAD and AP are also stuck, but on March 22nd. CRAZINESS! I've called them twice and put in a service request... nothing has helped so far. I plan on getting in touch with my state senator and USCIS ombudsman on Monday if nothing has moved by then.

That is very unfortunate... I would call on Monday to see if you've been approved before contacting your senate.. Someone forget there name there from April filers called the other day and they got approved there status was jist never updates

May 10 was my biometric, then had to retake biometric due to the fbi cannot read my finger prints, so i did retake it June 7. I called earlier today and the person i spoke to said they cannot locate the case number i gave, WTFILE?!#@. He transferred me to an officer, the officer said since we cannot find it on file it means its on process. Wow! It is really not helping at all! Btw case still unrecognizable online every time I check.

Hey, has anyone rang up USCIS about getting a service request on their EAD when they have had a RFIE? Just curious what to say if I do so, should I ask to be transferred to Tier 2?

I have, I even put in an expedite request for my EAD while gathering my materials for my RFE. My expedite request was denied and they sent me a mail that said that my EAD was on hold because of my RFE for the adjustment of status.

Great news so happy to see another April filer get there interview... Some of us are moving along very nicely... I wouldn't worry too much about your EAD my understanding is even when you recieved it in the mail you still can't update your SSN or get 1 for an addition few weeks cause there database updates every few weeks... Until it updates your EAD won't register on there systems Edited by Moslund

I would call the USCIS and submit a service request on your EAD, I initially called to hear about my I-485 as well due to not hearing from them after receiving my RFE response however I asked him to check my EAD case status too and at that time it had been over 75 days from when I sent in the applications and the officer told me he would put in a service request for me, that I would hear back from them within 15 days.I got an update on my case that my EAD was approved / being produced later the same day.

It's worth a shot? :)
