Although I filled on April 4th, just received the text/e,email NOA on April 9 and hard copy NOA some time after that (maybe a 1 week after).

I was wondering when they received your form I-765, was it April 8th? Or was April 8th that you received your NOA hard copy, but case started early? What it says on your "MyUSCIS Case Status"?

Got you now!! The online status said that it was received April 8th! For the GC..

EAD and AP said March 25th!

It means that although our biometrics was at the same day you are still 10 days ahead of me... so I have to wait 10 days to start panicking hahahah.... This wait is so frustrating!!

Heh my father-in-law is living in our house, so technically yes lol. I don't mind it much though, we have given him 1 year from when we got married to find his own place

ckibs, have you heard anything since you've submitted your RFE response? I just sent mine off on monday and they just sent me a text and email notification, for the first time, saying that they've received it and will start processing. Maybe you should call them if you havent heard anything.

I'm in the same situation! It's really weird we haven't heard anything yet!! I don't know who to call though..

That's something surprising. When do you call them to have ti wait so long?

I called them like 5 times since beginning of May and I always got through literally immediately. It has always been in the middle of the afternoon or the end of the day (between 11:30 and 16:30).

The good thing with Tier 2 is that they call you back (make sure you follow all the steps that enable the call back process tho) and so don't need to listen to their lame music while waiting ages to speak to someone.

Well, yeah I've called at different times, most around your same timeframe. Most calls have taken a long time to get through but yeah, a few times it's worked immediately. I guess it is just bad luck.

I haven't heard anything - in regards to my RFE response nor my EAD/AP applications. I know the RFE response was received as I have the signature and delivery confirmation from USPS so not worried. I've been thinking about calling the USCIS but at the same time I think they just haven't updated anything in my cases as it has happened prior in my case; the RFE was sent by the USCIS on April 29, I didn't receive it till May 6 and my case status didn't even update till May 11 !!

My RFE response was received by the USCIS on May 17, in the morning, making that 23-24 days today. I'll probably call them in a week when it has been 30 days - if I haven't heard anything by then.

I really wish I knew more but reading what people post here from their communication with the USCIS officers I don't know how much help they will be when calling them - especially if it's true that updating a case depends on the individual officer and how often they "feel like" doing so.

No, I didn't get email, letter, sms.. anything. I just checked the online status like after a week or so and there it was. I hope you're right.

I don't understand why your EAD card is on hold because RFE of the other case. They don't make any sense.. really.
