Probably not worth starting a new thread and tried to find one similar (for a short while) But I am just very upset!!! I received NOA2 out of CSC Feb 27th and still NVC has no record of my receipt no. Do they always record in system? Does anyone know what time do they update system so I do not have to be calling all dammm day (since not a toll free #)? I also sent NVC an email yesterday with no response yet. I also sent USCIS email and they responded quickly saying that it was mailed March 3rd. Other people out of CSC 10-15 days later than me have already received case # and some Pets are already at the consulates. Of course I also called them and they said wait 30 long days before they will even think of looking into.

Irritating to say the least.

Hey Isleta. When you call the NVC number did you get hold of an operator? The k-1 case are not entered in the automated system, because these cases stay only a short time at the NVC. Try calling and press the operator option. Give the CSC receit number and then he/she will answer. I hope I am a bit helpful

You are only 12 business days off from your NOA2, so you still have a little time to wait possibly (hopefully not much though). Don't forget it may have been a few days for them to send your case to the NVC! And yeah, be sure to get a live operator because I don't think the automated system would have your info in it if you had gone though :)

Hi Isleta,

I got NOA2 from CSC on Feb 28, so about the same time like you. I got ahold of an operator at NVC on monday and he informed me that our petition just arrived that day.

So you're not really that late and shouldn't worry too much. Try to get ahold of an operator and he'll probably tell you that yours just arrived too. Good luck!

Yes, 12 business days or 16 days total (feels longer than that) but I see other people with their Noa2 march 7-9 out of CSC and they are already heading to their respective consulates. I am happy for them but I have not even received a case number. Just got off the phone but will try later as I am supposed to be working  . Just have to sit tight I guess. Not fun.

Be sure you talk to a person! They don't input K1 case numbers into the system because we go through so fast.

Just Called, unfortunately still not in the system- Tanya (this one not very nice but most are) said it could take 90 days before it gets in the system- can you believe this!! I asked her how can this be?? I said it has been mailed out March 03, confirmed by USCIS. She said that it can take 90 days to be recorded in the system again. I mentioned to her again that others have had their NOA2 (CSC) less than 5 days ago and already have received their case number. AGAIN she said it could take 90 days  . Guess Ill just try again tomorrow.

Keep calling back-the great thing about the NVC is that you get to talk to someone instead of listening to a recording. I called just a few days after my approval and found out the case was sent to Ireland. I was also given my new case# that same day.

call the # press 1 and 5..........that's it!

Definetly keep on them about it

Good luck

I received my NOA 2 on 2/28/06 and still no record at the NVC. I've been calling everyday. The NOA 2 saying give the NVC 4 weeks before calling, but I notice some people get case # assigned with a week. I guess Cali serivce center is a bit slower than other places. Hopefully we'll all get our case # sometimes next week.

If its any comfort. USCIS said our petition was mailed to NVC March 9th and we got the letter of NOA March 10th..basically we haven't heard a word since. It's very frustrating not having a case number online. Guess we just have to twiddle our thumbs for a bit longer.

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

You'll do anything
