NVC PROCESS (PARENT)

Hey y'll

I have just gotten the welcome letter from NVC with Case Number and Invoice ID. I have already paid the AOS fee of $120. IV fee is not invoiced yet.

I am waiting to submit the AOS package and IV package. I have a series of questions in no particular order. Would appreciate if anyone could provide some color,

Questions:

1) can I send both AOS and IV packages together.

2) can IV package be sent before IV fee is paid or in process.

3) please confirm my understanding that DS 260 is submitted online after IV fees are paid.

4) does I-864 have to be the original for submission to NVC ( I will sign in blue ink so as not to be confused with a copy)

5) what supporting documentation does the IV package require ( it's for my mom- I want to make sure I have the right list before I make a request to my mom to send me the supporting documentation)

IV Packet

a. Bar-coded cover sheet

b. 2 Passport-sized photographs of the beneficiary

c. Photocopy of the biographic data page of the beneficiary's passport( does it need to be certified?)

f. birth certificate of the beneficiary (does it have to be certified or will photocopy suffice)

g. marriage certificate of the beneficiary (my dad passed away last year, do I need his death certificate)

h. police certificate(s) of the beneficiary( do I need to submit certified copy or will photocopy suffice)

I) what else is required

J) is there anywhere where it shows the link of what is required for a parent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
