My case has been waiting at the embassy since 1st December till this time they have not contact me but glory be to God I go by the process mrsGrant teach you and I was able to get my interview date last week by this time I had my appointment date and am on my way to Kumasi but in your case I suggest you should give them some time till u get your second update maybe they are reviewing your case good luck

Jemal deen and mrsgrant:

How does the second update appear? On the caec status? How long did it take for them to post a second update date for you? Did u also have two dates posted like I did? I am not quite sure what they mean. I have already contacted them but no reply yet. It seems it takes about a month and a half for them to send u a letter but for you and mrsgrant it took longer...

This seems very quick but I'm not sure. To give you a timeline to go by my case was created on December 9. It was updated the first time on December 15. On January 28 it was updated again. NVC confirmed to me that my letter was sent out on 28th. my thoughts to you would be to contact NVC and ask them if your letter has been sent.

My case was updated 3x and take note when you track your case you will see something like case created date that date is constant it does not change but the status update date is the one we are talking about in my case it was update on 1st December 2015 and 3&4 March 2016 but since you only have the first update I suggest u should keep emailing them and contact the nvc too good luck

What do you have to bring in order to pick up packet 3? Just the letter from the embassy? Do you have to bring your passport also or proof of ID? Is it possible for someone else to pick it up for you? My fiance is currently out of the country, but we got a letter saying his packet is ready for pickup...
