I need help as we really are confuse. My mom came to US with an F3 visa 3 years ago March 2013 to be exact. Question is.

1. Can she apply for citizenship? When?

2. Also, mom is a 10 yr gc holder and wants to apply for Us her unmarried children. Is it possible? We know it will take forever.

3. I have 2 married brothers. As I understand, she needs to be a USC to do that and later on upgrade the petition for unmarried children when she becomes a usc.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Information is highly appreciated. Thank you.

hi

90 days before being a GC holder for 5 years she can file for citizenship

she can file now for unmarried children, she could have filed as soon as she came to start the waiting game

she cannot file for married children until she is a USC

You also have to consider the ages of the unmarried children. If they are close to becoming 21 then they are automatically under F2B which takes a while compared to F2A. Good Luck on your visa journey! Hope its a speedy one!

Worrying is wasting energy on the things that you can't control, leave everything in God's hand.
