I am a US Citizen and my fiancee is a DACA recipient from Mexico. He came in through an unauthorized checkpoint when he was 5. I understand we need to petition for Advance Parol first, then travel, then get married, then apply for adjustment of status.

Any idea how long Advance Parol takes for DACA recipients? I saw the averages somewhere on this site, but that was for all advance Parol, not specifically DACA recipients. Also curious as to how often Advance Parol is denied and for what reasons. There are no orders of deportation on his file and no criminal record. His grandmother died 2 years ago and his aunt in mexico currently has cancer, we were hoping to use one of those reasons for Advance Parol, hopefully it is reason enough.

Once that is completed, any idea how long it takes until he gets his green card?

We already have a lawyer, but cannot meet with him for 2 more weeks and I would love to know more on averages wait times, etc.
