my wife is Filipino and is working in Saudi Arabia, even though she is not a Saudi citizen, everything will go through the embassy in Saudi correct? she wouldn't have to go back to Philippines for her interview but where she lives correct? last question, when we start the process in a few months, we will be under 2 years, but in about 6 months we will be at two, when she gets her visa, it should be a IR-1 even if started before two years have passed? Thanks in advance

The 2 or 10 year green card is based on how long you are married at Port of Entry.

Doesn't matter when ypu first start.

So if you arrive to US under 2 years married ypu get 2 tear green card. More than 2 years 10 year green card.

If she is a residence and gas proof of such in SA than yes she can interview there.

since she is living in Saudi as a contract nurse for the past 5 years, and will be there as we go through the process, basically, as she is a Filipino citizen and not Saudi citizen, she wouldent need to go back to the Philippines for it, the interview etc, she will be able to go through everything in saudi even if shes not a citizen there? thank you
