Hi I'm currently on a CR1 visa. I have received my green card and Ssn and will also be applying for the permanent green card soon..

My question might sound stupid..

Will I need a an Indian visa to travel to India even when I have an Indian passport??

USCIS :

I 130 noa1 received : 11/01/2013

I 130 noa2 received : 02/18/2014

NVC:

nvc received case : 03/04/2014

Received case# IIN# : 04/03/2014

Filled ds 261 form : 04/07/2014

Paid aos fee : 04/07/2014

Aos feed appeared PAID: 04/10/2014

Sent AOS Package: 04/30/2014

IV bill invoiced : 04/10/2014

IV Bill paid : 04/15/2014

IV Bill appeared PAID :

Sent IV package:05/29/2014

IV scanned : 06/03/2014

Checklist for IV received: 07/15/2014

Checklist scanned:07/22/2014

Aos fee changed to n/a:08/21/2014

As long as you have a valid Indian passport, then no, you don't need a visa to travel to India. You're still considered an Indian National.

lol no... you are an indian citizen. when you go into India you show just your indian passport.

when you go into USA you show your indian passport and your greencard.
