Did someone here just imply that the Old Testament doesn't apply anymore? Oh good. I eagerly await for the Ten Commandments to stop being held dearly by every Christian today. I'm also eagerly awaiting for Christians to come to the revelation that as a Jewish male for his time, their savior followed the Old Testament, so they had better follow the example and not cherry pick when it is convenient.

I was being facetious of course. Jews are widely hated in the Middle East in particular. Polls of Muslims shows a strong majority admit to antisemitism. Even in this thread I see people trying to compare modern Jews to modern Muslims, as if the per capita rates of violence and atrocities committed are the same in either group. This leads to the conclusion that they are either ignorant or simply into some good ole' fashion jew hating. In fact it is probably a bit of both.

i said all three religions are helplessly intertwined, not all three religion's holy books plagiarized each other (hehe). i suggest you take a class on the three main monotheistic religions, your working knowledge is lacking.

No, but the God of the Old Testament promised them the land of Israel and you best understand that that promise was a major premise in the creation of modern Israel. Much like North America the land wasn't empty either.
