This what keeps us coming back to VJ.

I thought this was telling:

a young woman who came to America to attend nursing school and help her family.

Sounds like they were a good match.

I wrote a synopsis at the time for Big Dog:

Short version: He met a "hot" 23 year old hooker from Thailand that just wanted to come to the USA to "make money fast" for her family but really was not interested in marriage.. They did a K1, she came here, he suggested she work at a strip club, she did.. The short term boost to his ego is now taking a beating as she does exactly what she said she was going to do all along. Tempers and actions are flaring as they both figure out that she really doesn't need him anymore.
