You still have 20 days. Get it filed on time. Sometimes they don't come back and ask questions about a tax return for a year so trying to delay doesn't help. Her name will appear on yours.

irs.gov is where you need to look for answers. We don't know you, your family, when you arrived, when you married, how much you made or what you are failing to tell us. Every taxpayer has a unique situation.
