Hi all,

I am new here and I wish all of you luck and the best on your immigration journey. Here is my issue, and I'm seeking for any advices (thank you in advance):

- File joint ROC in Feb 2015

- Received biometric in May 2015 (code 2 :wow: ) _ went to the center and the tech completed 10 fingers +pic +signature (should done for code 3 only) _ the receipt # is the same on 1_year extension letter which cannot be checked status.

- Interview in Dec 2015 (no REF)

- Recommended for approval on spot same date of interview (no reason why called for interview)

- Received approval letter on Dec 25, 2015

- Jan 25, 2016: received 2 biometric letters in 2 different envelops from USCIS (same notice days, same date sent out, same code 2 .. again). One letter asked for appointment on Feb 11, 16; the other letter has apt on Feb 22, 2016)

- Feb 11, 2016: came to ASC center, had 1 finger capture done a + pics +signature (the IO at center said no need to come for apt on Feb 22, 2016)

- Mar 14, 2016: received 2 biometric letters in 2 different envelops from USCIS (same notice days, same date sent out, same code 2 .. again). Both letter had appointment on Mar 21,2016. Called in and transferred to ASC biometric department, they said it was an error, no need to go for biometric.

- Mar 15, 2016: called in and spoke with Tier 2 IO, very nice guy. I was asking about not receiving my card after 60 days from approval. He put an inquiry for me and said call back again if I have not heard anything after 2 weeks.

- Mar 20, 2016: went to USCIS website and schedule an infopass on 28 mar 2016. It's lucky that I got the infopass so early in time.

My question is: should I reschedule my infopass after 2 weeks from the phone-call inquiry, or I just come for my infopass? The reason is if I come to the infopass, they will be confuses about my case because there are 2 inquiries is occurring at the same time.

Please advice, thank you so muchhhhh!

No card 60 days after approval? I say don't reschedule anything, go for that infopass and find out what the heck is going on. They're obviously screwing up somewhere, so go seek answers and get this resolved ASAP.

Hi nitehero,

Thanks for your strong advice. Obviously, I just checked infopass schedule and there is no available appt until May, so I will go for my infopass for sure. It is exactly 90 days from my approval date. I guess there is some messing with my biometric and receipt #.

One more thing: I am eligible for USC application, should I file for USC now or wait until I get the GC in hand?

Wish you all the best.

Yes file for naturalization. This even forces any pending removal of conditions to be adjudicated. You wouldn't have to worry about the other section of adjudication though since you're already approved. The mystery part is I wonder if they're gonna schedule you for another set of biometrics since it's also part of the N400 process.

Yep, file for citizenship whether or not GC comes through. I've been waiting for my ROC approval for 11 months now, I will still file for citizenship when I'm eligible, approved or not

Yes, that's what we plan to do. I will give them another 30 days (still not do my Tax yet hehe), I will file USC whether or not with the card.

However, from what I've read online, if your ROC is pending while you're filing for USC, the whole process will get your USC delay as well. Dont know if this is true or not.

To Starkilla09: 100% I will get another biometric for N400, the security guy starts remembering my face.

I will keep you posted after my infopass.

Yeah, keep us posted. Don't believe everything you see online, apply for citizenship, that might even help speed up solving this mess you've been put through.

Finally, we figured out that the IO scheduled me the wrong biometric code (# 2 instead of #3) for the 1st biometric apt last year. So, they scheduled another bio apt for me last week. I came for the new bio apt, and today I have received my new card, which is really quick.

I am about to submit my N-400 application next week.

Thanks so much you guys and I wish all of you the best and luck.
