Greetings my fellow immigrants!

Today, I got an e-mail saying that my AOS interview was cancelled and that I will receive a cancellation notice soon. It's a bit odd because I never got an appointment letter in the first place, nor a text or email about a scheduled date. Checked my local post office too if they may have misplaced my letter but they confirmed that nothing of the sort passed through them.

Now I've read in different threads that one should still go to the original scheduled date as this may be a scheduling glitch but what if there was no original appointment date to begin with? Has anyone heard of this before?

Thank you as always.

I would contact USCIS and see what's going on if it's a glitch or something else.

I did talk to a certain Brian in USCIS' customer service and all they could say was the same thing I saw in my email. They also don't know what happened.

I was wondering if this could be a potential interview waiver? Gah! *crosses fingers*

Their customer service people won't know anything about your case. They can only check your status and give you standard answers. Call back and ask to speak to an actually immigration officer.

A good way to get to the bottom of these types of mysteries is to make an InfoPass appointment and actually speak with an immigration officer face-to-face.
