Good Day!

Hoping somebody may be able to assist.

Currently completing the DS-160 online form for K1 Visa. I have just reached the question of ‘Previous U.S. Travel Information’ where it asks me to list all visits to the U.S along with length of time.

This is a little tricky for me, as I have been working on cruise ships for two years (this is how I met my fiancé). I have entered the U.S. probably 50+ times on a C1/D visa, for less than 24 hours. There is no way possible I can obtain these dates of visits. It would have been every other day during one itinerary we did.

I have e-mailed the embassy yesterday in regards to this, however do not anticipate to hear back until next week due to the Holiday weekend. Tried to call- they won’t answer questions over the phone.

Has anybody else had a similar experience? or can enlighten me at all as to how I should answer this question. I would really like to submit my readiness for interview ASAP... this is the only question holding me back.

The way I have answered the question (not submitted) so far, is by using my I-94 arrival and departure information, which shows the occasions I passed through CBP.... which amounts to around seventeen.

I appreciate any help in advance!

Many Thanks

Lisa

Embassy responded with the following:

"When completing the form DS-160 please do so to the best of your knowledge. You will be provided the opportunity to discuss your application with the Consular Officer on the day of your interview."

I have submitted a list of occasions passing through CBP and will further discuss at interview if necessary.

I used the VWP so less evidence but with a Visa do you not get a stamp? I also had to list all my other trips to non US destinations, put it on a spreadsheet with dates to the best of my knowledge.

Assuming you did the "transit crew member" route instead of the I-94. Just mention during the interview you did a bunch. These transits are not recorded. This according to a DHS officer that advised me to use that when on transit flights with multiple stops in the US instead of the regular I-94 route.

He specifically mentioned this, as cargo aircraft don't have an emigration officer meet the airplane prior to departure and there was no way to return the I-94 or even know who was on the outbound flight.
