Everything is great so far

Since we got here a month ago it has been virtually none stop, we have a car, a Ford Explorer, Alan has his van which is having the sign writing put on this week. AND our green cards arrived on Saturday, which we thought was pretty fast.

We also went house hunting within two days of arriving and in the first week we found the house that we wanted and we close tomorrow so thrilled with it all, it is a 2500 sq ft with a beautiful garden, front, back and sides, 3/2 with a dining room, formal living room, breakfast room, family room and a florida room so we are really really delighted with everything.

Alan already has work and we are in the process of networking with local builders etc and it appears to be working and I am hopeful for an interview at the same bank as my daughter. All in all things are, touch wood, going great for us and we are settling in really well, I must admit that it helps to already know people and because we have been coming over here for the past 15 years on holiday, we already know the area and some people.

It was a long process for us but one that has been worth every step of the way, it is a dream come true for me, to be close to my daughter and grandkids

So sorry not to have got back to you all before now, it really has been so busy but we are finally getting settled and getting down to some gardening. I never knew there would be so many leaves to get rid off, I thought this would not be the case in Florida how mistaken can one be!!!!

As soon as I have taken some pics I will post a few, if I can fathom out how to do it,

Tia is adapting quite well but because we lived with my daughter for the first 5 weeks she got used to having loads of people around and myt daughter's house is not as big as ours so I think Tia is a little overwhelmed by the size of the place and the fact that there are so many rooms she can use to sleep in!!!!! We are now seriously considering trying to get another young rottwweiler as I also think she is lonely and we have so much room and even though we miss Morgan so much we have to think of Tia, especially when we are both out at work

Everything would have been just perfect if we would have been able to bring him with us,he would have loved it so much. We all went down to the beach in Hannah Park on Wednesday and Tia had so much fun in the sea, Morgan was the one who did not really like to get his paws wet, unless it was a muddy hole but even though we had to keep her on a long leash, she still loved it.

I cannot thank everyone on here for helping us through this process, it meant so much to me and now that we are here and so damned happy, I am doubly grateful, you really are a great bunch.

Now that we are finally on the net in our own home I will be on here much more and will be able to catch up on what has been going on or not as the case may be
