Out of status

Hey guys,

I am out of status right now, because my dad loaned us the money but he send it wrong, so it didnt arrive and since it's an international transfer it takes several days/weeks, before he can resend it.

I read here that being out of status is nothing to worry about. But I was wondering if I should add a note or fill in something extra now I am out of status?

Hi, like Aleful said above there's no need to justify anything. Just send your package as instructed together with your supporting documentation asked. Your out of status will be forgiven, you're the spouse of a U.S. citizen.

True, it was supposed to only take a few days. But then it just didnt arrive, and we where just waiting for it, we called after a week and a halve and then found out it wasn't correct. And it had to be send back, and then now it's on the way back to us again. That's why it took a bit.

I'm not sure if I understood your last post correctly, but don't sent it in without a check or money order. As far I know they plain reject cases without payment.

You could change it with a check (hoping it won't bounce before you get the money transferred) as the transfer should be done before they will cash the check, but you need to include one of them in your initial package.
