In Passport where I-551 Annotation Given

My mom entered USA yesterday.

As i know at the POE a temporary green card for 1 year is given which called I-551 annotation.

But there is no seal.

My mom will apply for me.

No physical card is given at POE. They put a stamp on the visa, which is in her passport. It serves as proof of residency for a year. That stamp is the I-551 annotation.

it's a stamp, not a seal and it isn;t a green card. the green card comes in the mail. What does her applying for you have to do with her passport stamp?

Yes. She can apply as soon as she enters the US.

i think NO because they asked in I-130 "US SOCIAL SECURITY (IF ANY)

Since she has not received her card yet she can attach copy of biographic page and the page with immigrant visa & entry stamp.

There is nothing about social security number in the USCIS instructions.
