I think my husband received a letter with an interview appointment today, but it does not actually say anything about an interview on the letter so we aren't sure. Hoping someone here can help.

The letter says "please come to the location shown below at the time indicated in connection with an official matter." After location and date, it has the reason as "complete I-485." The only things it says to bring are the letter, ID, passport, related travel documents, and his spouse. It doesn't say anything about evidence of our relationship or othe evidence.

Does this seem to be an interview letter or something else? We have been waiting since August, so we are really hoping this is it. Do you think we should take additional evidence even though it doesn't say amything about it?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like an interview letter to me. Congrats on that.

I would suggest you bring the rest of your stuff as well. It cannot hurt, but if something comes up and you can clarify it right there and than, it might speed things up. Personally I have everything immigration related in one big folder (and it keeps growing almost daily). My wife refers to it as my security blankie because I take it with me for any and all official business. And it has helped on at least 2 occasions, my DMV visits and the marriage license.
