Hey Guys I have a question! I'am going over my I-129f Petition & I left Part 2. Information About Your Alien Fiance #36.a & 36.b blank. It says "Your Fiancė(e) will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at 36.a (City or Town) and 36.b(Country) ...Not quite sure what I'am supposed to put there...I live in Oregon but my Fiance is in Mexico...any suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Consider Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

You use the Embassy in Juarez Mexico that she will process through.

Here are some links to study.

Get the Juarez K1 Embassy instructions at http://travel.state....udad Juarez.pdf as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here:

You put your fiancee's information, she is the one applying for a visa.

What is funny is no one pays notice to 36a - b , NVC never looks at that section when forwarding the case file to the embassy.
