The method used most recently was explosives, not sure I have seem many threads denouncing explosives, blowing people up, chopping their heads off, shooting them, method is not that relevant, the end result is.

Our approach to firearms in this country is a belief system, and many of you otherwise responsible gun owners defend a system that makes it easy for people who shouldn't have guns to get them. So you want to put the blame on all of Islam when a terrorist attack occurs, but you wan't to absolve yourself from the domestic mass shootings.

You can't have it both ways. People are responsible for there own actions. I support measures that make it harder for these things to happen in both cases. Make it harder for criminals and mentally unstable people to get a gun. Make it harder for terrorists and criminals to slip through the cracks. I'll never support a measure that treats innocent people as if they are guilty.

But what would the rich oil execs do if we use alternative energy? The people who control the money are the real reasons we don't have other options, just like with health insurance and pharmaceuticals. The deep pockets don't want alternatives.

One of the reasons I'm not optimistic about any changes.
