Used to be a huge Hockey fan. I would watch almost every Bruins game when I was a kid, #4 was and still is my favorite.

The old Whalers, that was a good rivalry with the Bruins. They started in the WHA and took Derek Sanderson away from the B's, they had a very old Gordie Howe too. They are now the Carolina Hurricanes.

i think i'm doing my part fighting the good fight, as i'm not currently brainwashing my offspring with any religion with the hopes that he never feels the need to kill others in his imaginary friend's name. i also blaspheme as much as humanly possible, just in case. am i a friend or foe in the war on islam?

In AA lingo I beleive you would be called an enabler. I bug the ####### out of the Mormons and seventh day Adventists that come to my door and sometimes their mouths are full agape when I tell them I am an atheist. The missionaries actually have my house blacked out on their little map. My Jewish neighbors don't seem to care but frankly they avoid me for totally non-religious reasons. I share a fence with a Canadian that's a retired cop - not sure of his religion but I'm guessing maybe hockey and he's the only neighbor that's supportive of the weekly swinger parties and is my wife's 420 connection.

If there are true believers around me that read and understand the word of their god a good portion of them are duty bound to kill me for a number of very valid reasons spelled out in their book. There is not a country in existence with a majority Muslim population where I would not be in jail or worse.

I met Gordie Howe too once. It was in Edmonton. I remember he had big hands. He was actually pretty soft spoken though. Not the kind of guy who had to tell you he had big hands, or wave them around in the air, but they came through when he needed them.
