I got my medical done when I went through the whole K-1 process, and when I filled for AoS it was still valid and within the time frame. I passed, obviously.

I am approaching the 1 year mark since the medical was done, and I am wondering whether or not I will be made to do another one while my AOS is pending, or whether I am fine.

What is USCIS's policy on this?

I've read that while AOS is pending the medical is valid and they won't make me do another.

You could get an RFE for one. You may not.

The USCIS states their policy clearly. It seems some adjudicators simply do not know the policies they are supposed to follow.

Goddamnit, this is BS. I had one last year, and it cost an arm and a leg. Now I will probably have to pay another ridiculous price for another exam to tell them the exact same thing.

My Medical for K1 in London was done in Sep 2015 and I recently received an RFE which appears they lost it and I have to redo it here in the US. Ive sent them a response to confirm and heard nothing back yet. I may very well have to do the entire thing again. Such a pain.
