Pretty funny Freudian on this one. Clinton has really lost his edge. He was until quite recently a really great speaker. Even outside of his remark about the last 8 years the rest of what he's saying here is far from compelling.

http://www.theamericanmirror.com/video-bill-clinton-slams-awful-legacy-of-last-8-years/

I know jokes were made about Christie being held against his will by Trump, but I have to imagine home life for the Clintons right now is really awful.

Good luck!

That was poorly worded although I don't know what was said before or after this highly edited segment. However there is enough to get the gist that he wasn't slamming the Obama administration, bubble bursting I know, so much as the partisan gridlock the Party of No has put us through for the last 8 years.

I think Hilary bringing everyone together to sing cumbaya is probably as realistic as building an impenetrable wal and getting Mexico to pay for it though. Perhaps now that it's legal Bill feels comfortable inhaling?

Fair enough--he probably was talking about the gridlock and not a freudian slip on Obama. I will just leave my original post unedited because through failure we grow.

Good luck!

He's phoning it in or maybe after so many years of so many positions there is not a lot of material there.

I listened to part of Clinton's AIPAC speech today.. just so "meh" in delivery.. The left were pretty unhappy: http://www.salon.com/2016/03/21/took_pandering_to_a_new_level_progressives_palestinians_criticize_hillary_clinton_for_israeli_pr_aipac_speech/

Very interesting. I think trump's much maligned comments about Israel were very good actually--try not to come in looking to screw one side and telling them that is your intention; stay neutral as much as possible, I didn't know sanders felt similarly, per that article. It is the same way I view what Obama did in Cuba. The status quo with Cuba has had several decades to pan out and never has. Time to try something else and I think Obama finally having the brass to do something else in Cuba will be viewed favorably down the line.

Good luck!

Great Wall (And) a Trump Infared Tunnel Destruction Device smartly referred to at T.I.T. DD

I hope that they figured out that this election cycle is like the last two and the average voter, given these choices, will want 4 more years of gridlock.

The trump AIPAC speech today - I think this is the first prepared speech I've heard Trump do.. Not bad but until I see how upset NPR is tomorrow I won't know for sure.

I thought it was a great speech. Looked and sounded presidential.

Really? Must not be the same speech I saw. Funny how he was pandering about how great he has been for Israel because he was in a parade or something. After Pandering for a few minutes he said he is not there to pander to Israel and then he starts pandering again. Too funny. I am not sure what would happen if he actually became president but the entertainment and comedic value alone would be infinite.

I am not sure what would happen if he actually became president but the entertainment and comedic value alone would be infinite.

I did not care for the opening or ending but the meat of the speech I thought was very good and well delivered. I would encourage people to watch the entire speech - When they introduced him there were a lot of boos and they continued to a lesser extent through his opening. There were no more boos at the mid point of his speech and one standing ovation in the middle. He explained why the UN was not the right body to broker a peace deal and why the US may not be an ideal broker. He went into detail about why past agreements have failed and what is required to make one that both sides will follow. Granted a lot of it was extensions of general advice from his book but that's what he believes. His approach was different and may not work - but as opposed to what? Nobody else is suggesting anything but more of the same.. He also committed to moving the embassy.

He went off his script twice: The first time was with self deprecating humor and played very well and I think ended any more booing, he was very comfortable with the crowd at that point. The second one where he went after Clinton got a lot of applause but I think he needs to control himself with those.

Compare that to Clinton's speech: Every line or phrase was basically an independent sound byte built for the news and delivered in that rrrraaaAAAAHHHH rrraaaAAAHHHH tone of voice where its half yelling and basically pleading for applause and every inflection point. No plans for any change, no new commitments or plan of action, just the basic we-are-with-you-lets-all-hold-hands stuff...

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect
