Hi there,

was hoping someone could assist me with the following

I arrived in US on March 7th on a K1 visa and got married on March 18th. I am submitting my i-765 and i-485 together. From what I understand I will be categorized as © (9) under application type as I am now married.
My question is what forms or documents do I provide need to provide in my package as an © (9)
1) submit payment, Cover page, Birth certificate, passport page, K1 passport page, i-94, g-325a, passport photos, i-864, i-765, and i-485

2) i-765 and i-485 along with 2 passport photos, and i-94.
Could you kindly assist with providing me the correct information and list of documents needed in my case.

Regards,
Sum

You can find the answer on the above mentioned link.

No they can't. The OP is not applying for ROC. They are applying for AOS and asking about the I-765.

OP, there is no fee when filing the I-765 with a pending I-485. You should also file the I-131 too. There is no fee for it either, and it is best to have it just in case.

For the I-765>> You are filing as an adjustment applicant, category (c )(9 ), and so you need a copy of your passport biometrics page as ID and 2 passport photos. See Pages 5 and 8 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-765instr.pdf

For the I-131>> Instructions state you need an official ID The biometrics page of your passport works for this, And proof of current status can be a copy of your K-1 visa and entry stamp from your passport. Also, 2 passport photos See Pages 7-9 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-131instr.pdf

As for the I-485 itself, check out the guide here on VJ, and most importantly, the I-485 form instructions> http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

The fees are listed here > http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

And here are the details you need about whether or not you need to see a civil surgeon > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/551080-immunizations-ds-3025-or-i-693/

Actually, the I-765 and I-131 do not require a copy of your I-94. As I stated earlier in this thread, directly from the form instructions, the I-765 takes only ID, which you can use a copy of your passport bio page for, and 2 passport photos. That is it. And the I-131 requires ID(bio page of passport again) and proof of current status, which is a copy of your K-1 visa and passport entry stamp, and 2 passport photos.

Category (c )(9 ) applies only to the I-765 form, as that is the form that asks you to select what category you are eligible for an EAD under.

This looks like you copied and pasted another post from someone that had posted their AOS cover letter. It is not really the exact form requirements.
