Hello

I got 3 questions that im hoping my fellow VJers here will answer please.i just dont know a friend or anybody who can help or answer my question.

1.Since we'll have a joint sponsor,(my husband's cousin) is ITR 1040 required?cause we just asked for his W2s,employment letter.

2.does he still need to fill out the form i864a or if were only going to live with him?(which will be no cause well live at my husband's mom)

3.Is there no other proof that we can provide besides from the lease contract of the house?cause our landlord seems like she doesnt have a plan to give us one.is marriage contract not enough?

Im getting frustrated cause all the papers that we need to provide on our end are complete and the ones that we dont have are the ones that we dont have a choice but to seek help from other people like the lease contract.were thinking about getting a phone plan but i think its already late to get one since were planning to file for dcf this coming april(supposed to be tomorrow but because we cant rely on other people we have to move our schedule to wait for them)

Hope someone can give me a good answer thank you

Hello

I got 3 questions that im hoping my fellow VJers here will answer please.i just dont know a friend or anybody who can help or answer my question.

1.Since we'll have a joint sponsor,(my husband's cousin) is ITR 1040 required?cause we just asked for his W2s,employment letter.

- It's best to have it.

2.does he still need to fill out the form i864a or if were only going to live with him?(which will be no cause well live at my husband's mom)

-if your husband's cousin is the only joint sponsor then he needs to fill up i864 and not i864a

3.Is there no other proof that we can provide besides from the lease contract of the house?cause our landlord seems like she doesnt have a plan to give us one.is marriage contract not enough?

- bring pictures (wedding pictures etc.), letters sent to each other and chat logs to prove relationship

- you can check the stuff i posted on the link below when we filed our i-130

If the cousin is a wage/salary earner then you will need some proof of current and continuing income along with their I-864. That is typically several recent paystubs and employer letter. If the joint sponsor is self employed then the income tax return / transcript is a must.

What proof are you asking about? If it's about your bona fide relationship then you want to show your relationship from beginning to present day. Time spent together, travel, photos, chat transcripts, etc.

If possible last years tax return with a 1099/s would be best. Also the previous 2 years income w/o verification.

The I-864A is only for a family member member whose income is being used. Like if your cousin is married and they file a joint tax return. Then you would need the "A" but otherwise if you're only using his income, then no.

Where we live originally we only had a 6mth lease. We've been here 1 1/2 years now, the last year w/o any lease.

I went to our landlord with a one year lease I had prepared that had already expired. He had no problem signing it. We also provided a current rent receipt.

A joint bank account, joint account of most any kind.

We also used my wife's Philhealth policy where I was listed as a beneficiary.

Just some ideas to go with what's mentioned above.

Good luck!
