CFO needed to go back to Singapore for Work?

That is what's amazing to me as well. Why would she just spend all the time, effort, and money just to go back to Singapore to resign if you have no intentions to work for that company again? How long would she be in Singapore a day or a couple weeks to work until resigning? I have known many OFW's and my wife was on of them as well. When she resigned from her employers she just resigned while in the Philippines and that was it.

Its a different story if you get $$$ once resignation is done in person and do the one month notice.

Its 6 figures PH money so its worth the effort to go through all these. Anyway, im one step away,

Just an update. Im here at CFO right now and I talked to the lady at the counter. No slots available today she said and they insist that I get an appt. Talked to the supervisor and supervisor asked the lady to check for available slots this week. The lady asked me to come back tmrw morning for the 9am slot. She gave me a paper with hand written " by chance March 29, 2016 @9am" so the guard can get me in.

BTW, I was able to get in today without an appt because I did the PDOS registration for my son below 13 yrs old at the ground floor and just got up to the 3rd level for the GCP seminar.

Hopefully they will accomodate me tmrw with the paper that was given to me.

That is excellent new. Hopefully everything will be done in on the 29th and all will be good.

Yeah then I would definitely go back and do it on your part. I have been in that type of situation before and I stuck it out for the extra money. So go back and resign, hopefully get the money because it will help out when you move to the USA.

Hi,

Saw this thread and I'm wondering if anyone has same case has mine. I am a Filipina working here in Singapore and currently processing my K1 visa here. I'm wondering if my visa will be approved here and I want to go back to Philippines to spend some quality time with family, do I have to undergo with the CFO seminar when I fly to US? Considering I will have my approved k1 visa in my passport?

Appreciate your help. Thank you.

Yes. To exit the Philippines once you have your visa you will need to attend CFO.

Yes, once you have the passport with K1 visa, you need to attend the GCP seminar to have the CFO sticker in your passport when you leave the Philippines.

Better secure an appointment online. Next available schedule is two weeks from the current date.

Wag nyo po ako gayahin na walang appointment, nakuha lang sa matinding pakiusap.

Hi All,

Thanks for your prompt response.

Here's another question I'm curious about. Can I send back packet 3 to US Embassy- Singapore without undergoing my medical exam yet? My medical is scheduled this coming 27 April 2016. I read that it will take one month for the embassy to get back with the interview date, so I'm curious if I can do the medical within this one month waiting time.

Thank you!
