One thing I noticed was I needed more photos than I thought for the process.

I was told I would need 4 dated photos in total for my entire IV process, but the medical alone in Vancouver required 4, so I wound up having to return to the photography store to get extra IV photos printed off for the interview/IV packet. I'm not sure if its because you have to go to 2-3 offices for the Vancouver medical or not.

Would the lab diagnostics [bloodwork] and x-ray be done in one location in Montreal or several?

One. It's all on the same floor in the same office.

i have one more question

my wife is an indian studying in canada for the past 4 years

most of the vaccinations that are required were done at an early age and she doesn't have any record ( even i don't )
her doctor is not willing to give any records

what can she do here ?

since the cr1 medical will be done in montreal can we call them and ask what they would require and tell us our situation ?

I don't think its a problem, just get new vacations now and keep the paperwork and the immunization cards/dates. Call the medical office and see if they can do them on site during the medical.

Couple of options: get a blood test before the interview at her family doctor/clinic to test for those vaccinations; or get new vaccinations from family doctor/clinic so she has proof of getting them (there's no harm in getting additional vaccinations many years later; some are required every 10 years anyway)...these are the cheaper options: if she has provincial medical some or all of them may be covered.

Or she can get them done at the medical appointment instead but it will probably cost more. If you search on here for vaccinations and the name of the physician (or check on the website of the physician) you may be able to see what the cost would be.

read somewhere

that one can do a titer test ( blood test ) so that the doctor can determine what all vaccination are necessary and what are not

she will be asking her doctor about it

she called Montreal as well where the medical takes place for CR1

they said bring all the records or you have to do it here based on your blood test

it might take some time to get the results then

so we thinking of doing it now and get ready with all her records
