Media meltdown coming over black Trump supporter stomping on KKK hood-wearing protestor

What’s a good progressive to do? Two articles of the progressive faith are in conflict in the latest incident of “violence at a Trump rally.” Yesterday afternoon in a Tucson Trump rally, a protestor wore a KKK hood, and encountered an African American Trump supporter who was not amused, and who proceeded to stomp on him and get arrested.

Now, while it always true (to the prog faithful) that when leftists use violence against a Trump rally it is Trump’s fault, there is also the strong belief that ordinary rules of conduct do not apply to black people reacting to either the n-word or the KKK.

The easy and obvious solution is to simply report that “a protestor was assaulted at a Trump rally” and leave out any further details. But as the video shows, the black man who stomped on the protestor was arrested, and presumably will face a trial.

Here we run into another media anti-Trump belief: that paying for the defense of a Trump supporter who engaged in violence is evidence of Hitlerian tendencies.

So, what if Trump offers to pay for his defense? What if Trump even shows up at the hearing?

The fact is that most Americans of any political tendency recognize that employing the KKK costume is a provocative act, the equivalent of fighting words. And the fact that an African American Trump supporter even exists contradicts all those memes being propagated by the anti-Trump media.

So covering this is a no-win situation for the anti-Trump forces.

The stupidity of the whole sordid Trump campaign, and the violence and hatred spewing from both sides is pretty much pathetic in my opinion.

I won't be surprised if eventually it turns out Donald is paying for people to act like this though, and while I don't support what appears to be genuine out of control behavior of Trump detractors, I don't see the dog and pony show getting parlayed into general election votes for the Trumpmeister.

Very few predicted Trump to be where he is now. Even Obama is starting to campaign for Trump…..so whatever info they have about the election….it can't be to great for Hillary. Look, the left is loosing there minds already going after Trump. He is not even the nominee yet.

I haven't seen polls, but I don't think trolls coming to these things looking for a fight, finding one, then proclaiming the violence of Trump's campaign is helping their cause.

All I'm seeing is a bunch of trolls who can't use their words coming into his rallies (rather like we see in some threads here, actually) and trying to change the dialogue to whatever they want it to be, then crying over something happening that they directly encouraged to happen.
