WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:

Arrest and prosecute Donald J. Trump for incitement to violence. Legal precedent: Brandenburg v. Ohio.

Donald J. Trump has been inciting violent acts amongst his supporters. He should be arrested and prosecuted for this. Legal precedent: Brandenburg v. Ohio. To wit, the Court held that government cannot punish inflammatory speech.

UNLESS that speech is directed to inciting, and is likely to incite, imminent lawless action.

Clearly, he is doing exactly that.

87,086 people will apparently not be throwing their support behind Trump. lol This petition took off fast.

Holy Christmas are people really that naive?

I guess that think it doesn't hurt to try. You know the Sheriff's Department in N.C. wanted to file charges against him and then withdrew. Wonder why?..............The things political clout and money can buy you. I swear I should have sold my soul and became a politician. My name would have been Trumple My Cookies

I think arresting a leading presidential candidate for inciting violence is a great way to strengthen the democracy and make it nice and healthy.

It would be. It would show we the people have the power to hold corrupt politicians responsible for their actions.

If anything, Brandenburg protects Trump's speech.

Kill is right

The U.S. Supreme Court reversed Brandenburg's conviction, holding that government cannot constitutionally punish abstract advocacy of force or law violation. The majority opinion was per curiam (issued from the Court as an institution rather than as authored and signed by an individual justice). The earlier draft had originally been prepared by Justice Abe Fortas before he was forced to resign in the midst of an ethics scandal, and would have included a modified version of the clear and present danger tes

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

The moron who did this. However, sometimes cases like this can work in favor against future presidential candidates inciting violence.

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

Do you really think that they will arrest Donald Trump just because he his speaking his mind? Yeah right, you must be really naive to think that they will arrest him. If anything this will just make him stronger because the people that were on the fence about (like myself) will just go out and vote for him to piss people off like yourself. Why are your going to arrest him for "inciting violence" when Hillary has a great many things Illegally and she is still running free?

I was at a friend's house last night and we got on the subject of politics. Well needless to say that people were very animated against him because they were almost all Mexican-Americans or Mexicans who came here. I was talking to my friend's wife who said "We need a woman in the whitehouse", I said we can have any woman in there but her. I then went on to inform as someone who actually had a clearance with the USG that if I half things that she did in regards to her email that I would either be fired, fired fined and blacklisted from government work, arrested, or all of those combined. The majority of people that are commenting on tv about her email on both sides of the aisle have exactly no idea what the hell they are talking about. If they did they would understand the seriousness of the whole ordeal.
