People are stressing themselves for nothing counting none-working days for USCIS. I know in other countries government offices are opened even weekends but USCIS is closed on weekends and gov. holidays. So when somebody says NOA1 hard copy was received on say Jan 14th and no NOA2 to date (3/20/16) that means they've been waiting for only 45 days USCIS working days. But if you include weekends and holidays you end up with 66 days waiting period. Timeline tractor does not differentiate working and non working days, so you have to subtract weekends/holidays to get accurate waiting days.

Weekends are never counted as working days in the US. Doesn't matter if USCIS sends texts over the weekends or not, it still isn't considered a working day. Just because you know of other countries that work on weekends, doesn't mean the US considers weekends working days. Not sure what another country has to do with our system, I have been to many other countries and I have never seen government offices open on weekends.

No need to lecture a US born and this was just my own personal observation. Look at the dates people claim to have waited for their NOA2 given the date they received their NOA1 and maybe that will give you something to argue about. I'm not here to question your extensive world travel but not all countries observe the Saturdays and Sundays.
