When you say "get everything ready for NVC phase" what exactly does that entail?

Can someone do a quick checklist for me because I honestly can't find solid information.

Thanks

Cheyenne

Your stuff is going to be a little different since you don't deal with the NVC because you're doing DCF.

Right but that's what I'm saying. I don't know (and can't find anyone) who has done DCF in Lima, Peru. I don't know what to expect in this stage. All the instructions I got were: The Consulate Section will contact your spouse for further instructions. But when? What will they ask for? Just a little lost here lol.

You will do the DS-260 online and pay the IV fee. The IV documents and the AOS package will be brought to interview. Bring any domicile proof to the interview as well.

When the I-130 is approved they'll contact you. You can try contacting them in the meantime to see what's up.

Have you tried calling the Embassy maybe? Ask for a list directly or if they can give you general information on the forms you might need and can already start preparing?
