Where will we have to go for the interview(s)?
I am from the US. He is in the UK.

We used a co-sponsor for our K-1 process and we are using a joint sponsor for our AOS process. No lawyer is needed and we did not use one. As you can see from our timeline, our entire K1 process from start to finish took nearly 300 days (yes it was ridiculous). This was because at the time K1 cases were being sent to Texas Service Center, that had backlog problems. This is no longer the case for new applications, which are now sent to the California Service Center. Cases are processed much faster now.

I am from the US. He is in the UK.

London. Only the foreign fiancé is interviewed. The US citizen can attend for moral support if they wish, but is not usually interviewed that I know of.

When sending the initial application to USCIS, should I include photos of us, skype history etc.?

or is that something he'd bring with to the interview?

I think a few photos together is good. Skype not necessary. Others will disagree because they send 3 pounds of paper showing they talk to each other often. Skype may have more value when you speak different native languages to show how you are able to communicate. USCIS wants documentation that you have met in person face to face, so document being in each other's country/city within the last two years because that is an actual requirement.

I understand our NAO1 date will be on this receipt notice. Will the NAO1 date be April 12th, the day they received it?
