Since you are a new poster, I presume you are referring to your I130 filing at USCIS? If so it usually takes 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer depending on case load, to get out of the service center and off to the NVC. If you got their initial notification of receipt, Just sit tight for 8-10 weeks before starting to call.

Well then you have to do that thing you been doing for awhile... waiting. :) Just be patient the notice from NVC with the appointment schedule will arrive when it arrives... I know waiting sucks.

As I recall the NVC process was longer than USCIS. Possibly even longer now after the San Bernardino fiasco.

I'd be curious to know if Phil processing is generally taking longer now than say 6 months ago of if NVC is only looking at mid-east aps more closely.

Yea what they said, you should know that processing time is "up to" 45 days for 2016, and even after that you could end up in a situation like mine where they lost 2 of 3 police reports that were all submitted at the same time, If I were you, and hindsight is 20/20 I would call on day 44, I say 44 because if you call on day 45 they will automatically try to put you on AP, which they also did to us. And also keep in mind it takes them about a week or two to get milestone emails to you, such as cc letters and checklists and scan dates.
