Should everything be done before green card expire?

My green card will expire on April 4th 2016 , and I got noa1 already plus I have a letter for biometric too but the appointment is on 3/28 and I'm going to reschedule my appointment due to a trip on the same week so will that be ok if somehow they schedule me for a appointment after April 4th? Since I already have the noa1 for one year extension already.. Thanks again

It is fine for the biometrics to be be done after the card expires. You have the extension letter.

You could always see if you could do an early walkin too.
