Hello guys .. I came to USA in about 6 months now with IR2 visa and I had a boyfriend in my country we didn't get married before I came here .. We are planning on getting married next year for me to apply a visa for .. How long will it take for him to get here if I apply right after we get married. Thank you guys

It currently takes about 2 years for a greencard holder's spouse, from filing to interview.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I'm confused. You say you been here 6 months and you have a 10 year Visa. But you have a boyfriend back home?

So you are getting divorced from your current husband? and want to marry and petition your boyfriend? Is this correct?

No I'm not married .. I am now going to get married to my boyfriend next year and I am a green card holder and yes I moved in to the USA 6 months ago..
