Administrative processing at Dhaka us embassy

Hi everyone,

We just trap with the name of administrative processing since 5th august after submitting additional papers for joint sponsor at 31th march 2015. Our interview was 23rd December 2014 and asked for submitting a new joint sponsor. Then we submitted this at 31th march and then we saw our case was in AP at 5th august 2015 and then 24th august they called my husband and asked my husband and asking questions like that interview questions and then from this time no news. I'm just wondering how long its will take for complete that AP and visa issue?? Please if anyone go throw this situation then let us know.

No one can answer that question. Every AP has it's own time. It all depends what they are checking. Security checks, name checks, no one can say.

It can take from weeks to months to years for AP to be done. All you can do is wait.

You could involve your congressman or senator to inquire to see if they can find out what is up. No guarantee's they will get an answer.

Dwheel76 is right on the money.

Though the senators/congressmen can't do anything, try to contact them so they can send a query to the embassy. You will probably get same answer if you called the local embassy. But still if this isn't that big of a deal, go for it. You have nothing to lose and your congressman/senators would gladly do it for their constituents

By the way, dos your husband the Dhaka embassy? What are they saying?

Hi,everyone,28 month in ap nothing happen till now,2 days ago i email them,they touch my file,thats why my ceac date status change but don't get amy email answer,after two days later again my ceac date staus change but not get any answer,what is that meaning? One month ago when i email them,officer reply me that,they are concern about my case,is it a good sign???
