Hello everyone!

Good day! I just submitted my DS-160 form today and I just want to ask about the portion where it ask you " Full name in native alphabet" if I didn't put anything on would it matter?or can I still edit it?

I'll appreciate your answers!

You don't need to put anything there since we're using English Alphabet (not unless you're using Alibata, which is Philippines' native alphabet)

Hello everyone!

really?? Alibata? I never knew we have a native alphabet- was I absent in school when that was discussed?? ;)

Seriously- there was no version of our name in native alphabet, you are good to go DanJamie.

And if you don't mind may ask..for the letter of intent that my fiance will send me to bring for my interview Is it the same letter as what he submitted upon application and send it to USCIS? Or does he need to change the address to manila? I'm just kind of confused about this.

Hi! I changed the address to US Embassy Manila since we are submitting the letter of intent in Manila. The format can be the same but the date should be of course recent.

But according to your post you already submitted DS160, don't you have MNL number yet?

The letter is not from NVC, it was from the US Embassy Manila and will be sent to you/ beneficiary. it depends on your residence if within metro manila or nearby cities- easy to locate no hassle delivering via 2go or air2100 - maybe 2 month from Noa2. I got mine almost 2 months from my NOA2, I am from a major city.

You don't have to wait for that, your fiance can call NVC to get the MNL number 3 weeks from Noa2; some got theirs after 2 weeks.

You can also screen shot in CEAC the case number when you check your status and use that as reference document for your case number. Your fiance may also get an email but my fiance didn't get one. Several ways to get your MNL number, start calling when your NOA2 date is on its 3rd week.
