Timeline

They have to be authorized by the USCIS. If they are listed on this site: https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor

Then it will be fine. Otherwise, you'll need to go to a doc listed on that site.

I think you should be able to, I didnt know about it when I did AOS, but later when I needed some info and called on post, they told me I could have done it with one of their doctors who knows how. Good luck

Yes you can have the exam and vaccinations at base medical. I recently had it done by a doctor on base for my AOS.

Do they need to be certified by the USCIS like the other poster said? Or I can literally just go to any doctor on base?

No they don't need to be certified by USCIS. It says somewhere on the medical form instructions that any doctor at a military base can perform the exam. It took a couple of weeks to get mine all done since I needed several shots and tests done but better than paying $100s and they were very thorough. Just tell the receptionist at base why you need the appointment.
