Call the number on the letter they sent and explain this. Although, I got my letter about 5 WEEKS in advance, so I don't know what went wrong with yours.

some letters say that you may be allowed to go make up the appt for the rest of the wednesdays of the month or something like that. Does yours say anything to this manor? Or is there a place where is says to reschedule the appt with the office? I would call the 1-800# or make an infopass appt. Good luck. There has been a few people in that simular situation. Search around for their posts.

Go to the office where you were scheduled and they will take your bio. They will understand if you explain to them you got the letter after your date. Nothing to loose if you try.

I agree most Biometrics centers accept walking on Wendsday, just go there with your appt and try to explain your situation to them, I am sure they will understand

good luck

We missed our biometrics appt due to snow, on the letter they had put alternate days and times so that we could make it up. We had like two months (can't remember without looking at the paper). Just had to show up on their appointed date and time. Of course we ended up being there for about 2-1/2 hours waiting because its basically a date they give everyone who misses the appointment. If that is the case, bring something to read!

Don't worry! Just go to the office and explain. And be really, really polite about it. :)

Well, if you still have the envelope that your appointment letter was in, look at the postmark date and if it shows that it was mailed out just a few days before your appt. time I would bring it to their attention.

Hello Istanczyk,

Don't worry at all about your missed appointment, it is not a big deal. The best thing you can do is to schedule Infopass Appointment (Friday is a good day) and just go to the local office, don't waste your time on mailing any requests to them you can wait up to 90 days for any response. I missed my appointment over 30 days! because the office was closed due to severe weather conditions. I called the service number and they told me they will reschedule me automaticly, but I never received any new notice (they don't give you any useful advise anyway when you call this number). I didn't want to wait any longer and also my attorney advised me to schedule the Infopass appointment in order to reschedule my biometrics. Today (Friday) I went to the local office for my Infopass at 1:30 pm and there was almost no people/visitors. The security was very nice and helpful, they only asked if I have an appointment letter and I didn't need to explain anything more. They said they will take my biometrics right away! there was no waiting I was the first one to go. I was very pleased with my 'trip' to the local office. They really didn't care about the fact that I came over a moth later. This is my advise, don't waste your time schedule the Infopass (which even is not that necessary but I think do it just in case) and go there in person. You will see they are very helpful and they will take your fingerprints right away if they are not busy, otherwise they will reschedule you for another day. (Friday is a good day to go there) Good luck!!

3.5 years to reply? are you ok ? InfoPass appointments not work so well, when miss a Biometrics appointment. USUALLY, if go next day, beg at door of the ASC (Most Infopass appointments are not at ASCs, btw) then all is good.

wow - 3.5 years.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
