I managed to get an infopass appointment for Feb 12. Hoping to get answers for the pending 1-130, 1-485 and the most recent I-765. Unfortunately, my hubby will not be able to go for the appointment because he is currently disabled (from a stroke) and honestly doesn't want to stress out anymore than we already are.

Any advice as to what questions to ask and how to make the best use of the appointment?

Hi Yan Yan,

The infopass went well except the horrbly long wait times, i was only called to speak with an officer after 3.5hrs. The officer was helpful, he told me our application was waiting to be scheduled for a second interview and he put in an expedite request for us. We have not received any letter for the next interview yet but he adviced to come back if we dont hear from them after 3-4wks. Hope that helps!

Newbie here!!

Filed I-130 and I485 and I765 November 2016, got EAD approved Feb 2017. Interview scheduled and attended on Sept 22, 2017, no feedback yet. Officer said we'd hear from them in the mail but it's been almost over 120days yet no update. Filed a renewal EAD Nov 2017, still waiting. Is this typical? When should I expect to follow-up? Using an attorney who says they won't listen to him except after certain number of days. What to do??

have you gotten any response as yet

i'm so sorry to hear that you're having these issues. :( I dont know what I would have done in your situation.  I have a relative who was married in 2014, and she moved here in 2015 and filed september 2016 and are only now getting an interview, she never received the ead... so i know the system is flawed but all i can say is possibly try to contact them, try to get an infopass.. again im really sorry that you are experiencing this.  :( you really should have had at least the conditional greencard by now and ready to lift restrictions in 2019 like the majority of us have to... :( just know you aren't alone, but dont give up and try not to be discouraged, try to get an infopass

How long did it take for you to get the EAD renewal? I applied for mines in January and still haven’t gotten it as yet.

EAD renewal got approved in 172 days, AP in 32days (probably because EAD was already pending). Both got approved at the same time.
