both.  you would definitely get the mail, the letter in the mail is more important because it has all the instructions and all the documents that are required of you and you need that letter to show the officer when you enter the building and when you check in for the interview.

:) I got my welcome mail yesterday... I called uscis late in the afternoon and they gave me the tracking number for the card.

:) we're done until 2019.  I got my card today in the mail... they said they mailed it friday, but they actually mailed it on Monday.. :) 

expires May 30th 2019.... so see you guys february 2019 for those who have to lift the conditions.. otherwise Congrats and wish you all blessings on your journey :)

Received the card in the mail last night. Whooo. Officially done for the next 1 yr and 9 months. Congrats to everyone who got their approvals and good luck to everyone waiting!

We got our interview notice!  It hasn't come in the mail yet.  But I did get an email and the online status has updated as well.

 

Interview is on July 14th

 

Very happy the NYC office is going about on schedule (maybe even slightly ahead of schedule)

 

Another note, I called USCIS last week and we were told our case was at the field office.  I didn't want to get my hopes up then since I don't fully trust what the call center folks say.  But this time they got it right!
