July filers are now getting their interview letters in the mail to be interviewed in may... so you have a long wait to go dear

 

Check back a few pages, some people had issues with no case status updates, and then received denial letters claiming they never went to the interview.. You just have to keep up and keep calling.. but since you have about 3 more months you can wait about then to start calling and keep checking...

This is what's wrong with Uscis. We had interviews in 2 consecutive days, your card is with you and I'm still in the dark lol. Anyway. I'm happy you got yours. Congratulations! 🍾🎉

so was I... I'm still very impatient... but i think i would have gone crazy not knowing when to expect... last year I created an excel file and predicted that in april they would reach july filers and that may would be the interview.. my prediction was right... it allowed me to somewhat calm my nerves.. BUTTTTTTTTT i was very nervous because every month this year they updated the processing times by the 8th, then April comes and nothing by the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th,16th, 17th... finally today they updated.. *sigh*.. trust me I know what its like.. we all do  .. NYC is crazy.. but you know what's crazier we're not in the slowest city... it makes me find optimism .. just a little

My interview was on Marc, 22nd, but I haven't hear anything from USCIS since mt interview. I have a infopass for May 2nd.. Is somebody in the same situation or Am I the luck one?

Wow.. ! Did u hear about the new ead and permanent resident card that will be mailed out to everyone starting may 1st 2017 ?.. Am starting to think this might be the reason for your delay ..

I saw, but it also said they will keep issuing cards till they deplete their current supply. Maybe it is what you said. Regardless I thought it would be updated. 🙄😒

I guess noone else is in that same situation.  Atleast you have an infopass... if they asked you to bring files, or update your medical do that or even if they didnt ask u to get it done for your infopass..  price n music mentioned something I have to look into myself regarding issuing cards May 1st.. Your issue is different, however, since your interview was a month ago.

Fellow NY filer here. Quick question to the experienced people here -

 

My wife's interview is finally scheduled after almost 11 months - PD - June2016. Interview - 17 May 2017.

 

I know its under a year so we dont have to get a whole new medical done but do we have to get an updated medical on the new form which was introduced in Aug 2016?

Congratulations on getting an interview.

 

The interview letter would have the instructions.  If they don't mention to get an updated Medical then dont, as the medical lasts 1 year.

If you do proceed to get a medical done, any form you use has to be an updated form.

Meanwhile I started in July, my PD is July 26th. My Case status hasn't changed from Finger print fee received - August 3rd.

I did two case inquiries and they claimed to have been responded to, I got no email, no mail nothing from them.. So scheduled an infopass. Attended the infopass yesterday and as the officer looked my case up she responds well they just sent out your immigration interview letter. So I was stumped. Then she printed something out that had my name and my husband's name, our mailing address with no interview date, but the current date. We asked her what our date was, she said she couldn't say but we would get the mail by friday or early next week. I expected to get a status update on the app.. Nothing. (yes I kept checking).  I then called uscis after a couple of hours to confirm, they forwarded me to tertiary level.  When I got the call back, after identifying me, I was given a date of May 30th at 1.30pm... The case status does not work for me, and it is annoying.  I guess I will just have to wait until I get the hardcopy to be sure. with all that I have read, I just cant take someone's "word" for it.
