ive done it so many times at midnight NEVER have i gotten through but the two times i did it after 8 am I have.

I got to federal plaza at 6am on the dot . Federal plaza was empty at the time.  My wife and I decided to walk around till 7am.. bad idea . Lol. By the time we got back the line was ridiclously long  but it was moving . We got inside the building after a fast pace  security check ,went to the 4th floor then redirect to the 8th floor where our interview took place.. We met 5 couples waiting but we were called first .

 

My IO was an american oriental... she walked us to her office and told us to raise our right hands up.  Nothing but the truth blah blah .  

She direct most questions to my u.s citizen wife ..where , when ,first date e.t.c questions ..our child dob, my dob, my place of birth e.t.c. 

She questioned my wife for about 10 to 15 mins..  My wife speaks well in general so it was entertaing to her .  The whole interview became a convo and laughter .   Then she's asked me my wife's dob.. my  previous marriage divoce decree and[what happened?) lol.  I said we were young and naive .. she said she understood. She asked of we had any bonified documents.. 

Then she asked me the yes or no questions.

Then she said she will go over our case and seek for approval.. as soon as we stepped out her office . . My i485 changed to interview completed.. Then card in production.. Then case approved  Mewo! 

In all, the Interview was great ! If your marriage is real you have no problem.

Be out spoken and be honest !  Thank you all ! I will not disappear from this forum.  I will post and answer questions in order to help others .  Oh she didn't ask for my new medical..  I asked her if she wanted it .. she said my current one is good . I was like dam. Money wasted lmao. Lol. .

Congrats to everyone who has been approved in the last week. Delighted for you.

 

For those still waiting. It will happen eventually. When I was going through it (14 months with many hurdles) I thought it was never going to end! It does.

I agree with Nipperswife on this. I would schedule an infopass to see if you can get more information. 

 

Calling customer service is really a waste of time. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and they just don't have any answers or advice. Infopass is really the only way to get answers.

Hi, mine was on Mar, 22nd and We are at the same situation. Ok from the officer, but nothing haven't changed in the site. I opened an on-line inquiry last week and yesterday they emailed me an answer..

Interview done. Later I can write a review. Just our luck, systems were down so we got no letter, no confirmation, nothing. He couldn't do any checks so we'll see

So I called 18003755283 (press 1, then 2-2-2), I told them I was verbally approved but still no notice. I told them I needed to fax a document, so wanted to confirm the fax was received. I was escalated to level 2, and was told I should hear back from the immigration officer in 4-6 days.

 

I also applied for an infopass. Initially there was no availability, but when I checked again right after midnight several spots opened up.

So here it goes: our interview experience!

 

Our appointment was at 1.30pm at Federal Plaza. We went there very early went through airport style security and into the building. We were directed to the exact room with other people waiting. We sat and waited 15 min before our appointment to check in. We were told we were the last couple for the particular officer. After waiting for about an hour around 2.40, after all the couple around us switched with new ones we were called in. Our officer was a man in his late 30s or early 40s. He seemed nice and pleasant. Swore us in and told us to sit down. He asked about our DLs previous EAD/AP and passports. He asked me about my birth place and date of birth and then my spouse the same questions. He asked us where we work and what do we do. He asked my spouse what I like to do in my spare time and he asked me what's My spouses best friends name. After that there were Yes/No questions from I-485. Lucky us systems were down and he couldn't do final checks for us. Then he mentioned that they require them to do those checks while we are present so we might be called in again, but he also said our case looked fine and we seem to know each other well and all. He didn't take my current EAD/AP nor take my last I-94 from couple of months ago, not looked at our passports or birth certificates. We submitted joint bank account, phone bill with both our names, joint taxes and itineraries for trips together. He said most likely we wouldn't be called in, but we shouldn't be shocked if we do. He was very ambitious and never gave a certain answer. He said they were overwhelmed with cases and maybe we'll get a result within a week, or two or more. He never gave us any paper. My status online hasn't changed. Makes a bit nervous and annoyed also. If anyone has any input, you're more than welcome...otherwise that's about it with the whole experience 🤞🏼

Yes. Hopefully soon it will resolve. He did ask us towards the end: "anything final you'd like to say, admit, confess" which made me go like 👀 So we'll see.
