I did my research NYC has an average waiting time of 224 days from priority date and 176 days from Bio...

8-10 months for interview....

and you should expect your interview December-January according to the average stats for NYC... You should call them

What do you mean by petition? the i130 you meant?

I did a service request, they said the Manhattan office is swamped, just wait for interviews.

yes I-130 is the petition.. that is where your relative petition for you...

when you go to the case status does it say it was approved? or did you receive the approval notice?? Which you would have received it in October... (actually I was told nyc takes 6 months, its supposed to take 5 months for the petition but because of how swamped nyc is it will take 6 months)

no i have not heard anything about the petition. I believe i130 & i485 should be together as I'm doing AOS.

Im hoping to see interview dates in Dec or Jan!! finger crossed.

But every form has an approval or denial.. Log on to your case status what does it say for the I-130. Just like the I-765 and the I-131 you filed concurrently with the AOS has separate approval notices, so will the I-130....

Any other March 2016 filers from New York City who is still waiting for an interview? It's been over 9 months since we filed and no sign whatsoever. Last updated was May 16, 2016. We are from Queens, closer to Manhattan, do you guys think that it could be under the processing times of Manhattan/ NY,NY? Meanwhile the processing times are still not updated, should have been last week.

I filed early April, no news yet.

And yes Queens cases will be processed in Manhattan office, which is running extremely slow right now.

June filers would be interviewed March/April 2017

May filers would be interviewed February/March 2017

April filers would be interviewed January/February 2017

March Filers would be interviewed December/January 2017

Have you March NY'ers called uscis? I've read that some people call the congressman and have been assisted. Also read that some cases were delayed because they were assigned to one officer and that officer either was on vacation or resigned etc.

I did online inquiry and got response in November that the local office is scheduling. Meanwhile when I called last week and spoke to a tier 2, he said to call back in 3 wks and that our file is still in NBC. I wrote letter to congressman and signed release waiver last week, Ill wait a little bit and plan to ask for an update after Christmas. I dont want to be annoying but this has seriously made me realy anxious this past month. I caught an infopass for January 4, in Long Island, it's really far from where I am but gotta be proactive.

Let me tell you I got so obsessed at a point that I listed down all the timelines for March Aos that I could find in NYC. Majority of them have been interviewed in late October and November. There are 3 couples that have PD of Feb and March that dont have interview dates yet. And looking at the USCIS processing times, Queens is ahead it says Feb 2016. Meanwhile it's mostly people from Manhattan that have gotten interviews (processing date of NY,NY is Dec 15 I believe). I cannot make of anything of this processing timeline and how they choose to pick you over another regardless of PD

My PD is very close to yours. My PD date is 5/23/2016; the case ready to be scheduled for an interview since July; nothing change then

perhaps you would receive an interview notice this month for february.. keep us posted
