thank you Elliepro, I think they will schedule us an 1-30 interview, since the age difference between me and my husband, will be a tough journey, we went to the queens field last week, people there so rude, my husband got very upset.hope god will have mercy on everybody who have been waiting like me.

Yes. I'm glad it will be resolved. Otherwise until now it didn't affect me in anyway the waiting. I work, travelled with the AP and everything was good. I guess traveling with less problems is the greatest perk of that finalizing of the process.  ? Good luck to you and everyone else

I'm glad to hear about everyone getting their interview notices! Congrats.


I'm a little surprised though. I filed in February 2016...they scheduled my interview in September and December and they canceled both interviews due to being understaffed.  I have contacted my congressman and was told that "there is a long wait for interviews because of the amount of applications and lack of officers available"

It doesn't make sense. I think I now have to contact the Ombudsman. Does anyone have the correct link for that? Thanks.

You and I are on the same boat. Although I'm so very happy for everyone I feel frustrated about our case.

I'm sorry to hear of the trouble you are having. Its been a frustrating process. I have just written to the ombudsman and attached my two interview cancelation notices....It's around 70 days since I contacted the local senator. They said I was to contact them again if it reached 90 days without a new interview date.

Hi ,

 

After receiving NO update on my case , I contacted my congresswoman at day 85. Uscis ended up sending me a Rfe , that I've just received today ( day 89 !!). I had forgotten to mail my mother-in-laws latest tax return . Anyhow, I've already prepared my Rfe envelope, hopefully they will start re-working on my case soon after.

Nope, most recent is still considered 2015 right now.
