Mine was $140 because some of the shots were covered by my insurance.

Whooo such good news to receive on a Friday. Maybe you will get a letter in the mail about the expiring I-693. If I were you, even if I didn't get a notice, I would still get an updated one. You don't want to get a rejection for something small like that especially when you've been waiting for a year. I know it's annoying; I'm in the process of getting a new I-693 myself. All the places I tried want to charge $200+ but we are at the mercy of USCIS. :(

i130 (both parents)

2021/06/04 i130 filed online, routed to Nebraska

2021/09/03 RFE received, responded within a day
2021/11/19 Both i130 approved.

Currently waiting for cases to be transferred to NVC

Man I wish I had asked you guys before I started doing mine. I found a place in the BX that did it for $175 and insurance covered my flu shot and X ray (I always show positive for TB even though I don’t have it grrr)

Good morning everyone

FINALLY got my interview notice for April 3rd!!!! It is literally the entire year of wait!

Now, question - My health form was dated 3/31/2016, but I am going in for interview at 4/3/2017. Does it mean I need an updated i693?

Ours expire a day after the interview and yes we went to the doctor to get a new one. Im actually trying to verify if the lab reports for the gonnorrhea testing needs to be in the sealed envelope, ideas anyone?

congrats on getting that interview nyc waiting game. It is indeed a 'waiting' game haha! Im trying to avoid any more waiting after interview so im making sure we have things in place.:)

I hear you. But from Ive been reading on this whole website, a lot of people get their EAD/AP cards sometimes even before the biometrics!!! That really makes me think that it's not connected, that the BIO appt is for the actual green card. So that's good, you can kind of be sure that they are already working on your case! :)

Some people do walk-ins, but it looks like it doesn't matter, it doesn't affect the timeline anyway.

What's EAD/AP?

What's EAD/AP?

EAD/AP is the work authorization (i-765) combined with the advance parole document (I-131)

Both were optional... the work authorization is important to have because that is what will prove your presence here legal after "overstaying" due to adjusting process.  The Advance Parole is for persons who do travel while the case is pending.  It advises USCIS that you have not abandoned the case.  If you traveled without it then they would cancel your case due to abandonment.
