Hey guys, has anybody received the update status 'My interview was completed and my case must be reviewed' after your interview lately? About how long did it take to change to 'Case approved'? Thank you.

some people reported that it could take 2 months even up to a year as per the forums on here. I'm so nervous hearing that, my interview is in two weeks.

Did they tell you they were concerned about anything in particular?

No concerns, she even verbally approved us and said I should expect the welcome letter this week. That's why I'm confused that our case hasn't been approved yet. I've been trying to think of anything she could have found missing when reviewing our case later after the interview lol

Oh then.. maybe its just as simple as human error... happens alot in nyc it seems...

most ppl that receive the verbal approval, step outside and receive the updates on the phone and then get the letter and card later on..

maybe in like 2 weeks try to get an infopass... if they dont send it by then.. maybe youd find out that it was approved and it was human error..

:) you're ok. and congrats on the verbal approval

Hi guys, long time no post because frankly I had no updates and it was driving me crazy to read the forum. I had to take a little break lol, Anyway we received FINALLY our interview notice for May 31!!!!! So excited, but I have a question: Did anyone else receive a big manila folder when they got their interview date? USCIS sent me a copy of the Affidavit of Support and a copy of the Medical form, as well as instructions of items to bring along to my interview.

did anyone else get this? I'm asking because when I had interview notice mailed out to me in September it was just in a small envelope.
